What is the difference between flex and vinyl?

Flex printing and Vinyl printing are generally appropriated terms in the business anyway many clients look to have little knowledge. So, How you check certain terms one by one.




Flex is a fabric like material which is produced using PVC. Flex is a lot sharper and thicker material generally used for outdoor purposes. Flex, for the most part, has a cross-bring forth surface because of its assembling procedure and is typically printed by a method called solvent printing. UV Printing on flex is likewise convincing in which case the inks are UV-cured. 


Vinyl is short for Self Adhesive Vinyl. Vinyl resembles a much smoother PVC paper which has a layer of adhesive on one side. The side without the adhesive can be printed using different advances solvent imprinting on vinyl, eco-solvent printing on vinyl and UV printing on vinyl. One the print has been done, the vinyl can be stuck on any surface like a sticker. Essentially, vinyl printing is simply sticker printing. 

How are flex and vinyl used? 

A. Flex is used to make larger banners and hoardings. Normally flex comes in moves of 10ft width and an unusually long length. So very large prints can be made utilizing flex usually because they go onto billboards, unipoles and so forth. 

Vinyl, then again, is typically printed and either connected straightforwardly onto glass or first stuck on material like sunboard which is connected to the Well. 

Could flex or vinyl is pasted to a wall? 

A. The answer is no for both. Flex has no adhesive, therefore, it will be hard to paste it since it will have a ton of folds and wrinkles. Vinyl can be pasted shortly but if the surface isn't very smooth, the vinyl will fall off all around rapidly. So to apply an inventive on a wall, we should utilize a sunboard or acrylic. We first print the vinyl, cover it for protection and paste it onto a 3mm or thicker board. This board is relatively inflexible and can be effectively pasted on a divider using the twofold sided tape.
